Tragedy Strikes Kantara 2 Production Amidst Rapid Filming

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara was a smash hit in 2022. The makers of the movie have announced Kantara 2; regular shooting of the film is progressing at a rapid pace.

According to reports, Kantara 2 was being filmed in Udupi's Kolleru village. Kapil, who worked as a junior assistant on the film, drowned during filming. While swimming in the sea, Kapil misjudged the water's depth and tragically could not resurface.

Some time ago, a bus carrying junior artists for Kantara overturned near Jadkal, resulting in injuries to several people.

Kantara 2 is directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films.
