Varanasi: Lord Ram, Kumbhakarna Clash to Be the Biggest Attraction

Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Varanasi directed by Rajamouli is the most awaited project across the globe. The film is racing for a grand release on 7 April 2027.
It is known that Mahesh Babu is playing the role of Rudra and Lord Ram while Priyanka Chopra will be seen as Mandakini and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen as Kumbha in the film.
Now inside talk is more details are coming about Ramayana episode in the film. Buzz is the episode will be for 20 minutes and it will showcase the intense war between Lord Ram and Kumbhakarna. The episode will also feature vanar sena (army of monkeys) but will not feature Goddess Sita and Lankesh Ravan. Music is composed by Keeravani. Vijayendra Prasad penned the story for the film while Deva Katta provided the dialogues.
“If the reports are true, Rajamouli is definitely trying to be different,’ says a source and adds, ‘In the past, Telugu movies showed the conflict between Rama and Ravana as the biggest clash with more 18 days of battle, but Rajamouli is thinking differently and wants to give a new twist to it. The bloody clash between Ram and Kumbakhran will be highlight of the film since it is otherwise a sci-fi adventure,” he adds
