Reigning star Prabhas is gearing up for a grand pan-India release with his upcoming film The Raja Saab, and the Hindi version is being readied alongside the Telugu original. “Prabhas will once again prove his box-office clout in the Hindi heartland with this unique and refreshing entertainer,” says a source close to the unit.
Reportedly, Prabhas will dub for his character in Hindi, ensuring a more authentic experience for his North Indian fans. The film is expected to have a swashbuckling release across northern states, capitalizing on his massive fanbase and pan-India popularity.
The Baahubali star has built a strong following among Hindi audiences through blockbusters like Saaho, Salaar, and the recent Kalki 2898 AD, which rocked the box office in the Hindi market. “Prabhas’s appeal goes beyond Indian borders. Fans from countries like Japan celebrate his work and persona. His popularity is evident on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, where fan pages flood timelines with updates about his films, public appearances, and fan interactions,” the source adds.
Interestingly, the makers of The Raja Saab have not yet finalized any OTT deal, despite considerable interest from digital giants. “We haven’t signed any OTT deal. It’s too early to comment on such reports, and speculations in this regard are baseless,” clarified the source.
