A fixed-rate structure has also been finalized for premium premiere shows. Under this model, exhibitors will receive Rs 25,000 per show in A-centers, Rs 15,000 in B-centers, and Rs 5,000 in C-centers, creating a balanced revenue framework for high-profile releases.

The intense stand-off between Tollywood producers and single-screen exhibitors has officially come to an end. In an official communication issued by the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, President D. Suresh Babu confirmed that a unanimous settlement has been reached. All stakeholders have agreed to ensure a smooth, hurdle-free theatrical release for the highly anticipated pan-Indian sports drama Peddi starring Ram Charan.
As part of the agreement, a structured interim financial model has been introduced specifically for Peddi to address exhibitors’ concerns while broader policies are finalized. Under the arrangement, if ticket prices are increased, exhibitors will receive an additional 7.5% revenue share.

More importantly, the communication signals a major structural change for the Telugu film industry. While Peddi will release under these temporary terms, the Film Chamber has officially committed to implementing a permanent percentage-sharing system for exhibitors. The final guidelines and implementation roadmap are expected to be finalized before the next major Tollywood release or by the end of June 2026.
