Tabu and Nagarjuna Reunite as Rivals in Superstar's 100th Film
She is currently also doing Vijay Sethupathi's SlumDog.

When Nagarjuna invited Tabu to be part of his 100th film, he promised she would have a never-before-seen avatar, and he has lived up to his word. Tabu plays the main antagonist in this landmark project, tentatively titled King 100. The two actors are sharing the screen nearly 28 years after their iconic 1996 romantic drama Ninne Pelladatha. However, rather than reprising the on-screen chemistry they shared in their mid-90s hits, Tabu will be seen on the opposite side of the law this time around.
The commercial drama, directed by Ra Karthik, centers on a strong father-daughter dynamic and features a rags-to-riches arc. Nagarjuna utilizes advanced de-aging technology to portray his character across various stages of life, ranging from age 25 to 60. Tabu's dark-shaded role in the film will be highly substantial.
This is not the first time she is going rogue. In Andhadhun (2018), her chilling, deceptive, and ruthless portrayal of the murderous Simi Sinha earned her widespread critical acclaim and awards for Best Actor in a Negative Role. Similarly, in Maqbool (2003), her performance as Nimmi, the ambitious and manipulative instigator who plots against her own lover and boss, established her as a powerhouse capable of handling morally complex characters.
Tabu has also marked her presence in major international projects. She is currently also doing Vijay Sethupathi's SlumDog.
