Sumanth Unveils Varahi Idol, Seeks Divine Blessings for 'Mahendragiri Varahi'

The makers of Sumanth and Aishwarya Rajesh-starrer Mahendragiri Varahi have launched a unique promotional campaign by installing idols of Goddess Varahi in theatres across the Telugu states.

The initiative began with the installation of a Goddess Varahi idol at Sriramulu Theatre in Moosapet, Hyderabad, coinciding with the ongoing Varahi Gupta Navratri celebrations. Director Santosh Jagarlapudi said the team plans to install idols in nearly 100 theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where special pujas will also be conducted.

"It is a great pleasure to organise this event during Varahi Gupta Navratri. Installing the idol of Goddess Varahi in the theatre is a special feeling. With the blessings of the Goddess, we hope Mahendragiri Varahi will receive the audience's support," said Sumanth. He added that the film's release date will be announced within the next two days.

Director Santosh Jagarlapudi said the campaign was aimed at spreading the blessings of Goddess Varahi while creating awareness about the film. "We are planning to install Goddess Varahi idols in around 100 theatres across the two Telugu states and organise special pujas regularly. We hope the audience blesses the film," he said.

Directed by Santosh Jagarlapudi, Mahendragiri Varahi is a spiritual mystery thriller set against the backdrop of Mahendragiri and revolves around the divine power of Goddess Varahi. Besides Sumanth and Aishwarya Rajesh, the film also features Meenakshi Goswami, Malavika Nair, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Rajiv Kanakala and Ali in key roles. The film is jointly produced by Kalipu Madhu and Lakshman under the Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films banners.
