Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty, who shot to pan-India fame with the blockbuster KGF franchise, has dismissed reports claiming that she charges Rs exorbitant fees riding on her popularity.. .
For the past few months, reports have been doing the rounds that the actress has hiked her remuneration to nearly Rs 8 crore. However, Srinidhi has now rubbished the claims, questioning how she could demand such a huge amount when she has acted in only a handful of films so far.
She made it clear that the reports about her charging Rs 8 crore are mere rumours and do not reflect reality.
Srinidhi also revealed that money has never been her sole motivation for accepting films. “If earning money was my only goal, I would have done around 20 films by now,” she indicated, explaining why she has remained selective despite gaining nationwide recognition.
According to the actress, good content and a strong character matter more to her than a hefty paycheque. She said she has followed this principle since the beginning of her career and has turned down several offers when the projects did not meet her expectations.
