Rukmini Vasanth Marks Malayalam Debut With Nivin Pauly’s NP51
Rukmini said that being part of a place she had admired for a long time feels very special to her.

No doubt, Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth is a new sensation. She has officially started work on her first Malayalam film. She shared a few pictures from the beginning of the shoot on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the special moment. The film is currently known as NP51 and stars Nivin Pauly in the lead. In the pictures, Rukmini can be seen holding a film clapboard and smiling for the camera. She looked happy and excited as she marked the start of a new chapter. She also shared a warm note along with the pictures. Rukmini said that being part of a place she had admired for a long time feels very special to her. She added that getting a small place in that world is an important first for her and thanked everyone involved in the project.
“Rukimni Is also making her debut in Tollywood with big ticket entertainer ‘Dragon’ with Jr NTR and it is expected to fetch more offers in Tollywood," says writer Gopi Mohan who says that actresses expanding fan base is more necessary than choice. “Every language is unique in its own and boasts of huge followers. Hence, actresses who are doing multilanguage movies can earn more fan from different languages," he adds
Earlier, Rashmika Mandanna, Mrundal Thakuar, Sai Pallavi, Shruti Hassan and Keerthy Suresh explored more languages than sticking to their mother tongue. “Language and regional barriers are breached since films are defined as pan india instead of a Kannada, Telugu or Tamil film, so actresses will get more mileage if they stick to a multilingual plan. Rather than sticking to their own language and get stuck to a limited number of viewers," concludes Gopi Mohan.
