Ram Charan’s Peddi Set for June Release, Faces Clash with Yash Film

The makers have officially confirmed a slight delay in release, stating that Peddi will now hit theatres in June

It’s now official — Ram Charan’s much-awaited pan-India sports action drama Peddi is gearing up for a grand theatrical release this June. The film has already built strong momentum with its promotional content in the recent months. Both songs released so far have turned into chartbusters, while the glimpses showcased Ram Charan in two strikingly different avatars. The birthday special glimpse in particular drew widespread appreciation and have raised expectations.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the project is presented by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings.

The makers have officially confirmed a slight delay in release, stating that Peddi will now hit theatres in June. In a formal note, the team revealed that while they are very satisfied with the film’s current output, they have opted to take additional time for post-production. The goal, they emphasized, is to ensure a polished and superior cinematic experience for audiences.

A top distributor has revealed that Toxic, the Kannda-English bilingual movie starring Yash, is also slated for release on June 4 for now. If so, and hence Peddi will have a clash with the gangster movie. "There would be a clash between Peddi and Toxic if both release on same date or Peddi released a week later, but the clash is inevitable. June month is definitely a best bet for star-studded movies since it is peak summer season and could attract holiday crowds. Both the films are expected to draw sensational openings worldwide and the better one would emerge a box office winner," he concluded.
