Mana Sankara Varaprasad Garu Sold For Rs 120 Cr In Andhra Pradesh And Telangana ?
After the success of Sankrathiki Vasthunam expectations are high that director and actor combination will repeat the magic with this film

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming Sankranthi release Mana Sankara Varaprasad Garu has reportedly fetched a hefty price in the Telugu market. According to a leading exhibitor, the film’s theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been sold for around Rs 120 crore, making it one of the biggest pre-release deals for the actor in recent years.
“Telugu distributors have shelled out Rs 120 crore for the two states, which is a whopping deal,” the exhibitor said. “The combination of Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi, who is currently on a winning streak, has given immense confidence to buyers. The producers have managed to strike a very solid agreement.”
Director Anil Ravipudi, known for his strong hold over the Sankranthi festival season, has consistently delivered crowd-pleasing family entertainers during the holiday window. He proved his box office prowess once again with the success of Sankrathiki Vasthunam, and expectations are high that he will repeat the magic with this film.
Mana Sankara Varaprasad Garu is said to be a family drama featuring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara as an estranged couple. The film also adds glamour through Catherine Tresa, while Venkatesh’s special appearance, including a song, is expected to be an additional crowd-puller.
Chiranjeevi’s biggest recent box office success was Waltair Veerayya, which reportedly earned a share of around Rs 109 crore and grossed over Rs 150 crore. Trade circles believe Mana Sankara Varaprasad Garu has the potential to surpass that record, especially with the advantage of a prime Sankranthi release and a strong ensemble cast.
