Reigning star Prabhas is currently busy shooting for Spirit, the much-awaited action drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Featuring Triptii Dimri as the female lead, the film is being mounted on a grand scale and remains one of the most anticipated projects among movie lovers across the globe.
It has now been confirmed that a key schedule of Spirit will be filmed at Hyderabad's iconic Vimal Theatre, a single-screen cinema with a legacy spanning more than four decades. Adding to the excitement, Prabhas himself is expected to participate in this two-day shooting schedule.
The announcement has already created a buzz among fans, many of whom have gathered near the theatre hoping to catch a glimpse of the star. The production team has reportedly made elaborate arrangements to manage the crowds and ensure smooth filming.
Spirit also marks the Telugu film debut of Vivek Oberoi, who will be seen playing the primary antagonist. The film's cast also includes Kanchana, Aishwarya Desai and several other actors in pivotal roles, while the music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
Interestingly, Vimal Theatre itself has become a talking point in Hyderabad's exhibition sector. The historic single-screen property was recently taken over and renovated by Mythri Movie Makers, which reportedly invested several crores to modernize the facility while retaining its vintage charm.
