The rising popularity of superstar Prabhas has helped his body double to make more money these days. He is reportedly charging Rs 30 lakhs per day since he has to do a lot of work. “With Prabhas’s films mostly being action-centric, his body double his hiking his pay and receiving it too,” says a source and adds, “His body double charges Rs 30 lakhs per day and he has to be on the sets for more than 30 days for a big ticket film. Hence, he is pocketing Rs 9 to 10 crores per film and laughing all the way to the bank,’ he adds
Of course, he has to take a lot of risks since he indulges in death-defying action in films like ‘Salaar’ and ‘Kalki 2829’ which truly strains his back. “He deserves good money for his risks. Nevertheless, he has become one of the highest-paid body doubles in Indian cinema since he matches Prabhas in height and physique and is bound to reap rich dividends,” he adds.
He also had a lot of work to do in ‘Rajasaab’ and also pocketed a good sum. “He was used in ‘Raajasaab’ too since it also boasts of action episodes. His dates have become quite crucial these days,” he concludes.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is awaiting the release of his much-hyped sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2829’ with talented director Nag Ashwin and is also set to showcase his flair for comedy in his other film ‘Rajasaab’ with director Maruthi since Prabhas recently claimed that he likes to explore all kinds of roles, rather restricting acting repertoire.
