Nivetha Pethuraj Bags Plum Roles in Tollywood

Actress Nivetha Pethuraj may finally be entering a promising phase in her Tollywood career with back-to-back opportunities alongside senior stars.

Nivetha made her Telugu debut with the film Mental Madilo, but the movie did not bring her widespread recognition. Later, her appearance in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo earned her good visibility among audiences, though it did not immediately open the doors to major offers.

Now, the actress has reportedly landed an important role in director Trivikram Srinivas’ next project featuring Venkatesh Daggubati, tentatively titled AK47. Interestingly, reports also suggest that she is being considered for another high-profile project simultaneously.

According to buzz in film circles, Nivetha is likely to join Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film directed by K. S. Ravindra. The film already features Priyamani and Anaswara Rajan in key roles. The addition of Nivetha is expected to bring both glamour and added strength to the ensemble cast.

Interestingly, Nivetha will reportedly be sharing screen space with multiple leading ladies in both projects. In Venkatesh’s film, Srinidhi Shetty is also said to be playing a significant role. However, insiders claim that Nivetha’s characters in both films will carry strong prominence.

While Nivetha earlier received opportunities as a solo female lead, those projects did not significantly boost her career graph. At present, being associated with two major stars could turn out to be a crucial breakthrough and potentially lead to more big-ticket offers in the future.

Nivetha was last seen in the horror thriller Boo, which released in 2023.
