The film is written and directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, with Bhagyashri Borse starring as the female lead.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has been tirelessly promoting Akhil's Lenin even after its release. The film is doing fairly well at the box office. Last night, a success meet for the movie was held in Hyderabad, attended by Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, producer Nag Vamsi, and other team members.
During the event, Nagarjuna spoke about the recurring delays in the Tollywood film industry. He cited the example of the Hollywood film The Odyssey, noting that its makers announced the release date a year in advance and honored that commitment without postponements. He questioned why Tollywood filmmakers frequently delay their projects, admitting that even he had to postpone Lenin due to technical work.
Reflecting on the past, Nagarjuna recalled that during the times of Ninne Pelladatha and Annamayya, movies were fully prepared a month before release. He questioned why current filmmakers struggle to keep prints ready on time. Concluding his speech, he appealed to filmmakers to deliver their movies punctually for the health and betterment of good cinema.
