Mythri Movie Makers Rule Out Ticket Hike For Ranabaali
Amid reports that the film could come with a ₹50 ticket hike in Andhra Pradesh, the makers have now dismissed the speculation.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming period action drama Ranabaali is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on October 16, 2026. Amid reports that the film could come with a ₹50 ticket hike in Andhra Pradesh, the makers have now dismissed the speculation.
Mythri Movie Makers took to X and made it clear that Ranabaali will be released with standard ticket prices across all regions, with no additional hike anywhere. The decision is likely to come as a relief to fans, especially at a time when ticket pricing has become a major talking point surrounding several big-ticket releases.
Meanwhile, the film’s promotional campaign is progressing at a brisk pace, with the makers expected to announce a pre-release event soon. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is being mounted as a multilingual period action drama and is carrying considerable expectations among Vijay Deverakonda’s fans.
“Perhaps Mythri Movie Makers have realised that a ticket hike is not always a safe game,” says a distributor. “They made good money with Irumudi despite keeping ticket prices nominal, and they may be looking to follow the same formula for their other projects as well,” he adds.
