Last Rites of Veteran Tollywood Artiste Pavala Shyamala Held
Shyamala made her silver screen debut with Babai Abbai in 1985 and went on to feature in over 250 films.

The funeral of veteran Tollywood character artiste Pavala Shyamala will take place today. Her mortal remains are being moved from the Ready to Serve Ashram in Vanasthalipuram to Mahaprasthanam in Film Nagar. The body arrived at the venue around 10:00 a.m.
Her remains will stay at Mahaprasthanam for an hour. This window allows film industry members, actors, and fans to pay their final respects. The last rites began at 11:00 a.m. Leaders from the Movie Artistes Association, along with several actors and film personalities, are attending to offer their tributes. Actress Karate Kalyani is personally managing the arrangements for the funeral.
