Putting an end to the rumours, Keerthy clarified through an Instagram post that her transformation was purely the result of disciplined fitness routines, dietary changes and yoga.
Sharing details of her journey, Keerthy revealed that when she began her acting career in 2013, she had little understanding of fitness and never imagined herself stepping into a gym. However, during a break after Mahanati, she adopted a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet and gradually lost 10 kilograms over nine months.
She also recalled facing criticism after the weight loss, with many people claiming she looked too weak and others spreading surgery rumours. Keerthy further shared that discovering yoga in 2020 became a turning point in her life.
“Something I once hated has now become something I cannot live without,” she said.
