Kayadu Lohar Expands Her Footprint

He says Kayadu faces tough competition in Tollywood from the likes of Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sreeleela, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur, along with younger actresses such as Mamitha Baiju, but she has to carve out her own space

Young actress Kayadu Lohar, who couldn’t make a strong mark with Telugu films like ‘Alluri’ and ‘Funky’, is looking to deliver her maiden hit in Tollywood with ‘The Paradise’. Although she has been missing from the film’s promotions, her role opposite Nani is said to be significant.

“Kayadu is a typical multilingual actress who is working across all South Indian languages to expand her footprint,” says a source, adding, “Kayadu hasn’t had the right success in Telugu so far, and even one good hit would give her some space in Telugu films.”

Her Tamil film ‘Dragon’, starring Pradeep Ranganathan, also did well in the Telugu states, and now she has to impress audiences with her role in the upcoming Telugu film. “She hails from Assam but is slowly making her mark in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. She is becoming a sought-after actress for her looks and talent,” the source points out.

He says Kayadu faces tough competition in Tollywood from the likes of Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sreeleela, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur, along with younger actresses such as Mamitha Baiju, but she has to carve out her own space.

“First, she has to deliver a box-office winner, and then things will fall into place. Kayadu looks to be a promising actress,” he concludes.
