Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna is gearing up for his much-awaited debut, while superstar Krishna’s grandson Jayakrishna, a nephew of Mahesh Babu, is set to make his entry with Srinivasa Mangapuram. Another fourth-generation Nandamuri family member, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, is also expected to be launched by director YVS Chowdary.
“There is nothing wrong with star kids trying their luck in Tollywood,” says producer Kona Venkat. “They have an established legacy and naturally feel motivated to carry it forward. Ultimately, however, success depends on talent, hard work, and the audience's acceptance.”
He points out that while family backgrounds may provide an entry into the industry, sustaining a career requires dedication and consistent performances. “Many star kids have succeeded, while others have struggled. At the end of the day, audiences decide who stays and who doesn’t,” he adds.
