Jagapathi Babu Calls Prabhas a ‘True Darling’, Praises His Generosity

Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu, who has been enjoying a strong second innings in the film industry with impactful roles, made heartfelt comments about actor Prabhas and filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli during an interaction with the media.

Speaking about Prabhas, Jagapathi Babu described him as a person with a large heart who always helps others without expecting anything in return.

“Prabhas only knows how to give to people and never thinks about asking for return favors. He helps anyone in any manner possible,” he said.

Recalling a personal incident, Jagapathi Babu revealed that he had gone through a difficult phase and reached out to Prabhas while the actor was shooting in Georgia.

“I was going through depression and wanted to speak to him. At that time, Prabhas was shooting in Georgia. He told me, ‘Darling, I am there. Tell me your problem, I will solve it,’ and gave me a lot of confidence,” he shared.

He further added that after returning from the shoot, Prabhas personally met him and offered encouragement that gave him strength.

“His words motivated me and gave me courage. Though he is younger than me, he has a very big heart. He loves and cares for everyone,” Jagapathi Babu said.

The actor also spoke highly of Rajamouli and his family, praising their humility despite achieving enormous success.

“Even after winning many awards, Rajamouli remains humble and grounded. He has no ego at all, and his entire family is the same. They treat everyone with care and affection,” he said.

At the same time, Jagapathi Babu noted that Rajamouli keeps professional decisions separate from personal relationships.

“He may be close to someone, but he will not give opportunities based on that. He chooses actors only according to the character. If people can learn and follow even 25 percent of the values practiced by Rajamouli’s family, they will succeed,” he added.
