Abu Dhabi recently became the meeting ground for superstar Ram Charan and director Sukumar as they discussed their next collaboration, RC 17. The duo, known for their blockbuster hit Rangasthalam, is set to reunite for an action-packed film with a fresh and modern approach.
A source revealed that Ram Charan, who was in Abu Dhabi for prior commitments, had an extensive discussion with Sukumar about the project. “RC 17 will be a larger-than-life spectacle, blending style, innovation, and high-octane action to appeal to global audiences,” the source stated.
Unlike Rangasthalam’s rustic setting, RC 17 will showcase Ram Charan in a sleek, urban avatar, marking a striking transformation from his previous roles. Sukumar, known for his raw storytelling in the Pushpa series, is now shifting gears to craft a contemporary action film infused with romance and adventure, set in exotic locations.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan is currently immersed in the shoot of RC 16, a sports-centric rural drama with cricket and athletic themes.
