BTS star V revealed he has been dealing with hearing loss for two and a half years. He shared the personal news during a recent live broadcast with bandmate Jung Kook.

V explained that his hearing condition worsened while he was completing his mandatory military service. During that time, people around him urged him to focus on mental strength. He convinced himself that pushing through the pain was enough. However, the issue persisted and grew more severe over time.

The singer shared that the difference between his ears is now significant. He estimated that while one ear hears at full capacity, the other only functions at around thirty percent. Bandmate Jung Kook urged him not to ignore the medical problem or rely solely on toughing it out.

V reassured fans that he is currently managing the condition responsibility. He visits the hospital regularly and takes prescribed medication to treat his ears. He promised listeners that he is doing his absolute best to care for his health while continuing his music career.
