Balakrishna Suffers Knee Injury, Minor Surgery Advised

The yet-to-be-titled film is directed by Gopichand Malineni.

Nandamuri Balakrishna sustained a knee injury while shooting an action sequence for his upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK111, at Kakinada Port in Andhra Pradesh's East Godavari district. The incident occurred during filming, following which the shoot was halted. Balakrishna was later taken to a private hospital in Kakinada, where doctors advised him to take bed rest for a few days.

"As advised by the medical team, he will undergo a minor surgical procedure to ensure a swift and complete recovery," a statement by the movie's team said. "The procedure is routine and there is absolutely no cause for concern. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to the sets very soon," they added.

The yet-to-be-titled film is directed by Gopichand Malineni. This marks the second collaboration between Balakrishna and Gopichand after their blockbuster Veera Simha Reddy.

The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner.

Meanwhile, Nandamuri Kalyanram wished the actor a speedy recovery. He joined Balakrishna's fan base and several public personalities.
