While most actors prefer debuting in romantic comedies as it is considered an easier launch pad, actor Abhay Adaka appears to be thinking otherwise. His forthcoming film Marshal is said to be a medical thriller. Directed by Jai Raaj Singh, the film, which is set to release on September 13, touches upon the aspects of surrogacy
“Apart from surrogacy, the film delves into the aspects of discovering a new formula for child birth. And we erected sets worth Rs 2 crore for medical laboratory and other property to get a realistic feel for the film,” says Abhay. If reports are to be believed, the film has actor Meka Srikanth in an interesting role, too.
“His role has three shades, and it will be one of the major highlights of the film,” explains the actor. Abhay appears to have thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the film. “The best part is that I was able to get an insight over the different crafts in the filmmaking process,” he adds.
