Ram Charan has gone completely fidaa… on kurtas! Now, whenever he attends film events or other functions, he wears only kurtas and has completely stopped wearing jeans and shirts. Here’s why: “A few months ago, when he was shooting in Rajahmundry for Rangasthalam 1985, he decided to wear kurtas to beat the heat. Since he couldn’t get branded ones there, he went to a fabric store, and picked six colours and got them stitched,” says a source close to the actor.
From then, the actor, who feels very comfortable wearing them, decided to continue the style. “Ever since, many have been wondering where he bought them and if he is promoting a brand. But he actually picked them up from a normal fabric store!” says the source.
