Actress Poonam Kaur has been the talk of the town these days — not for her work, but because of her tweets! Hopefully, people will focus on her films once again, now that her upcoming project, Ankoosh Bhatt’s 3 Dev, is due to release.
After her stint in the south Indian film industry, Poonam is confident that she will be able to woo Hindi-speaking audiences as well. She will soon be seen playing Radha in the madcap comedy.
Talking about the actress, Ankoosh Bhatt says, “When we began casting for the role, my casting director suggested Poonam’s name. She fit the bill perfectly because we needed someone sweet and bubbly to play Radha. Her experience helped us too because no hand-holding was required. She came on the sets and got into character in no time!”
3 Dev is said to be a one-of-its-kind comedy featuring an ensemble cast that includes Prosenjit, Kay Kay Menon, Raima Sen, Tisca Chopra, Ravi Dubey, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Karan Singh Grover and Poonam Kaur. The film is all set to be released on June 1.
