Brahmanandam is one of the top comedians of Tollywood, earning a place in the Guinness World Records for doing more than 1,000 films. But now, the actor’s fame is fading as many feel that his comedy has turned routine. Of late, he has not been seen in many films.
Now however, the actor is all set to play a key role in Aachari America Yatra, starring Manchu Vishnu as the lead. The film’s poster shows both the actors in a typical Brahmin avatar.
Interestingly, a few years back, Brahmanandam had courted controversy with his film Denikaina Ready, for a satirical dialogue passed on the community. Vishnu was the lead actor in that film too. Brahmanadam reportedly didn’t want to play Brahmin roles after that controversy, but he seems to have gone back on his word. Will this film give the top comedian a much needed break? Only time will tell!
