Sushanth’s next rolls out

Actor Sushanth, who was seen in a small role in Ala Vaikuntapuramlo, has started working on his new film, Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu. The film, which has Meenakshi as the female lead and will be directed by debutant Darshan, was officially launched at Annapurna Studios on Thursday morning. Sushanth’s mother Naga Suseela attended the launch along with producers Ravi Shankar Shastri and Harish. (Ravi Shankar, by the way, is related to yesteryear’s popular actress, Bhanumathi).

A unit source tells us that the film’s story is based on real-life incidents, with some cinematic liberties added to them. Sushanth last did a lead role in the 2018-film Chi La Sow, directed by Rahul Ravindan.
