This will be the actor's second film with Sukumar, after Nannaku Prematho.

Director Sukumar seems to have developed a special liking for actor Jagapathi Babu, who he has roped in for his next film with Ram Charan. The actor was earlier seen playing a key role in the director’s film, Nannaku Prematho, starring NTR Jr.
“Jagapathi Babu is surely one of the most sought after actors right now. The director feels that he has a lot of untapped potential, which he wants to make use of. The actor readily agreed because he found the character interesting and also because their earlier outing brought him a lot of rave reviews,” shares a source.
The news was made official at the film’s launch on Monday.
