Baahubali team hires 33 VFX studios
After four and a half years of production, SS Rajamouli’s brain child, Baahubali’s shoot was wrapped up recently and is gearing up for a worldwide release on April 28. In an attempt to stick to the deadline, the filmmakers have sought the help of 33 VFX studios across the globe for the post-production. While the first part had Srinivasa Mohan looking after the VFX department, RC Kamal Kannan has taken on the reins for Baahubali: The Conclusion.
“It’s amazing that almost all major VFX studios in our country are following one pipeline, working towards one common goal. Racing towards the release, the post production is happening in more than 33 studios across the world. It gave an opportunity to share and learn simultaneously. Life can’t be more satisfying,” he wrote on his social media page.
Sources reveal that a teaser is likely to release sometime in February. However, there is no official confirmation on the same. Also, buzz is that the makers are planning a grand audio launch and will be announcing the finalised date soon.
