After making her Kannada debut with Viraaj, actress Varnika is now all set for a bilingual venture (Telugu and Tamil). The actress will be paired opposite Rio Raj, a popular television actor and video jockey in the Tamil entertainment industry.
Actor Siva Karthikeyan is bankrolling the film that will be directed by Karthik Venugopalan. Since Siva Karthikeyan is always looking for fresh ideas and new talent, he believes that Varnika’s youthful good looks will lend the film a fresh appeal and also complement Rio on screen.

“I am from Mumbai and am excited to be part of the film. The script is intriguing and I have an interesting role, although I can’t talk about it,” she shares. “My earlier experience of working in a Kannada film will definitely come in handy in understanding the work pattern of the Tamil and Telugu film industries,” adds the young actress.
This new film, which was launched on Thursday, will have a high emotional quotient, apart from all the other commercial ingredients.
