For the past few weeks, there has been much tattle about director Vikram Kumar’s upcoming projects. While some said he would be directing Allu Arjun, others insisted that he would be helming a Tamil film. Finally, the director has put an end to all these speculations. It turns out, Vikram will be directing Nani in a coming-of-age film that will be produced by Mythri Movies.
Apparently, Nani was fascinated with the way Vikram has penned the script and his characterisation. Since the latter is known as a director who experiments with his stories, Nani believes he is ready to try out different scripts at this stage, since he has already cemented his place as an actor. Currently shooting for the sports drama Jersey, Nani will be commencing work on this new film from early next year.
A source informs, “Even while the remaining formalities are being worked out, Nani is excited with the script and is looking forward to working with director Vikram Kumar.” The actor has already started prepping for his part for in the film.
