With the first look of Anushka Shetty’s Bhagmathi set to be unveiled soon, it looks like the actress has finally okayed a film and, reportedly, even signed on the dotted line. Notably, Anushka hasn’t taken on any films since a very long time, and her only release other than Baahubali — The Conclusion was Suriya’s Singham 3.
It was earlier reported that the actress would be, yet again, teaming up with Gautham Menon after Yentha Vaadu Gaani in a multilingual multi-starrer film that would star actors from across all the four South Indian film industries. But now, it looks like the actress is interested in a film with the filmmaker, albeit for a different script.
“It will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual where Anushka’s character will drive the story. She is quite excited about the project,” shares a source in the know, adding that the multi-starrer film is on the cards too. “Since it involves actors of various industries coming together, it will need to be planned elaborately,” adds the source.
