Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan go separate ways
Both Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are involved in films and politics. But while Pawan Kalyan announced that he wants to quit cinema to take up politics seriously in the coming days, Chiranjeevi is the opposite.
The Megastar is going to continue to do more films, says a source. Chiranjeevi has returned for his 150th film after taking a long break of nine years. The film, Khaidi No. 150 is hitting the screens in January.
Post this film, the actor-turned-politician plans to do more films. He has agreed to do a film each, with his brother-in-law Allu Aravind and producer Ashwini Dutt.
Boyapati Srinu and Trivikram Srinivas may direct these films for Chiranjeevi. The actor feels that if he wants to be closer to the masses, films are a better choice.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan says that he will quit films after he completes his next three projects. He has already announced that his party, Jana Sena, is going to contest in the coming elections.
