Actor Vijay Deverakonda may be one of the top actors in the industry today, but he admits that he didn’t always have it easy until the success of his debut film, Pelli Choopulu — directed by Tharun Bhascker — changed his life and career dramatically.
The actor has decided to start his own production house, King of the Hill Entertainments to encourage new talent. Interestingly, Vijay has decided to kick off his venture with a project by Tharun Bhascker, to whom he owes his initial success. Titled Meeku Matrame Chepta, the promotion was launched in a unique fashion with a hilarious video starring Vijay and Tharun.
The actor took to Twitter and said, “I realise how hard it is to do this and how risky, but what is life without a challenge, so with most of my savings on the line, I reveal to you King Of The Hill’s 1st Production Title! While we were finding it painfully hard to break into the industry and make a film, I decided.. The day I make it, I'll start a production house (sic).”
