CMs, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Anushka, Rajamouli pay last respects to Harikrishna

Hyderabad: The Telugu-speaking states and other parts of the country and world, who knew and loved Nandamuri Harikrishna are in shock over the death of the actor-politician.

As the news spread early on Wednesday, celebrities from the fields of politics and film industry visited the family’s residence throughout the day.

Twitter was flooded with pictures shared by fan clubs of the events of the day.

Among the first were pictures of Harikrishna’s son Jr NTR and brother Balakrishna, who is set to play their father NTR in a biopic, at the moment the mortal remains arrived at the residence.

Chief Ministers of the both the Telugu-speaking states, Telangana’s K Chandrashekhar Rao and Andhra Pradesh’s N Chandrababu Naidu, who is Harikrishna’s brother-in-law, were seen paying their tributes in front of his mortal remains.

Many Tollywood stars also arrived at the venue to pay respects to the departed soul and lend solidarity to the bereaved family.

Chiranjeevi and son Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli with Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh and Mohan Babu, were among those spotted.

Later in the day, Pawan Kalyan was also seen paying the floral tribute and shared an emotional moment with Jr NTR.

The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon, and Hyderabad Police has issued travel directives according to the final journey expected to pass through areas like Masab Tank, Mehidipatnam, Nanalanagar X Road, Tolichowki, Narayanamma College and Whisper Valley T junction.
