Naveen Chandra is always doing unique roles. True to his reputation, the actor will be playing the role of a guy who sells pirated CDs in his forthcoming film by Sai Karthik Reddy. Talking about the role, Naveen says, “Everyone knows the industry is facing a piracy problem. So when I was offered the script, I believed it’ll be an interesting film that can enlighten the audience on how filmmakers and the industry have been losing out on a big chunk of money as a result of piracy.”
Apparently, Naveen got nostalgic while listening to the script. “When one of my films Andala Rakshasi released, I was going back to my hometown Ballari to watch it with my friends. I saw my film’s pirated CD’s being sold. I was disheartened because the unit had put in a lot of effort into making the film. So doing a film on piracy is my bit to fight the problem,” shares Naveen.
Anup Rubens is giving music for the film, which features Gayathri Suresh as the leading lady.
