No qualms about screen time, says Adah sharma

The actress has been criticised for accepting a film that has lesser screen time.

Actress Adah Sharma’s latest film Kalki, starring Rajasekhar, was released on Friday. And the actress has been criticised for accepting a film that has lesser screen time. However, Adah is quick to defend the film and her role in it. “In my first film, Heart Attack, I had more screen time, so naturally everyone’s started comparing every role with that film. It’s what you do with the role and how audiences receive it. And Kalki has been branded as a Rajasekhar’s film,” Adah justifies.

She further adds, “Gone are the days when an actor looked at the screen time in a film. It’s all about looking at a film in its totality. Moreover, director Prasanth Varma wanted me to be my natural self, and the film is everyone’s effort and we all have to carry the director’s vision.”

Interestingly, Adah is promoting the film in a look that she’d portrayed in the film.

“I guess it’s the respect I would like to pay to the film and I always do it,” she replies, adding that working with Rajasekhar was a learning experience. “He’s a thorough professional.”
