Ayodhya Kumar, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed Minugurulu a couple of years back, is coming up with a romantic film titled Sri Lakshmi & 24 Kisses. He is currently busy finalising the cast.
“This is a clean, romantic film. After Yeh Maya Chesave there has been no romantic film on these lines, thus I chose a love story,” says Ayodhya Kumar.
The director’s Minugurulu, which was screened in many international and Indian film festivals, had dealt with a social issue and most of the actors were blind.
“Unlike my first film, this will be a unique and commercial subject. Joi Barua, popular in Bollywood, will be the music director,” adds Kumar.
He is in talks with a few young actors for the lead role and wants to rope in Hebah Patel for the female lead. “I would like to start shooting in late July and complete it as early as possible,” he says.
