It’s official now. National Award-winning South Indian actress Priyamani got engaged to her long-time beau Mustufa Raj last Friday.
Romance bloomed between the two during the Celebrity Cricket League matches a few years ago. While Priya was the ambassador for the CCL, Mustufa was part of the event management. They both met during a match between Karnataka and Bengal at Bengaluru and their subsequent meet at the next match in Kerala paved way for furthering their relationship.
“I am very happy to announce that Mustufa Raj and I got engaged on Friday. We wanted to keep the engagement simple and hence invited only close friends and family members,” she said.
The wedding date has not yet been decided. “We have known each other for four years. The engagement was just a formality,” she said. Asked if she would continue acting post marriage, pat comes the reply. “Why not! I would definitely work in movies after marriage”. Her Ragada co-star Anushka Shetty wished the couple on Instagram.
