Even while Prince Cecil continues to play lead roles, he has started experimenting. For the first time, the actor will be seen as a baddie in the film titled Narudi Brathuku Natana.
“When director Vimal Krishna explained to me the concept, I could envision the depth and the scope of the part. It’s a crazy character that has everything — the good, bad and ugly side of a guy,” explains Prince.
It was during the lockdown that he felt the need to experiment, says the actor. “I have been following world cinema; I saw international actors juggling several roles, so it made me realise that an actor should be capable of doing anything,” he says.
Prince reveals that he loves playing a baddie. “It’s a new experience and I am fascinated with the menacing looks that I carry. So I am exploring my other acting side. I never thought playing a baddie would be so cool,” he shares.
The actor will be seen as the protagonist in Pellikuthuru Party, written and directed by Aparna Malladi. “I play a spirited youngster in the film, which is a kind of a female-centric film. It’s a light-hearted Disney kind of a film,” says Prince signing off.
