Adithya Menon injured on the sets of Pawan Kalyan's film
Adithya Menon was injured while shooting for an action sequence on the sets of the Pawan Kalyan-starrer Harihara Veeramallu a few days ago. It was an explosion scene and Adithya was riding a horse during the episode. The horses were supposed to move away from the scene of the blast when the explosion happened. But apparently his horse panicked at the sound, lost balance and fell, trapping Adithya underneath.
“It was a bad mishap; I was in extreme pain and I was immediately rushed to my caravan for first aid,” shares Adithya. “I got a few bruises and sharp cuts on the inner left thigh,” reveals the actor.
“I got up on my own though I was bleeding,” he shares, adding, “It was not anyone’s fault; these things sometimes happen. It shows that while working with animals, there’s always danger.”
Adithya was hospitalised, and had to have 15 stitches. He has been advised rest for three weeks. “I was not asked to do any exercises but doctors advised me not to ride a horse until I completely recover,” says Adithya who is currently recuperating in Chennai.
