In a first, senior actor Srikanth is attempting the horror-comedy genre in Ra Ra, slated for a February 23 release. He says, “I have done nearly 120 films but I’ve never tried the horror genre and this film is exactly that.” The actor also feels that this genre is doing quite well in Tollywood, which is why he thought of taking the role up.
Srikanth, who will be seen playing a film director in Ra Ra, shares, “I play a director who wants to be successful.”
Talking about how he landed the role, the actor says, “When I was looking for a good script, Vijay came to me with this and I liked it. I am confident that it will do well. Along with scary scenes, there are also many comedy scenes.”
Chiranjeevi had earlier launched the motion poster of the film while Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal had released its teaser at a public event.
