K T Rama Rao back as centre of attraction!

KTR was the chief guest, and attended the event along with Ram Charan's father Chiranjeevi.

The TRS is in power again and so, K.T. Rama Rao is back once again as the centre of attraction at film functions. The dynamic young leader attended the pre-release function of Vinaya Vidheya Rama that stars Ram Charan and has been directed by Boyapati Srinu.

KTR was the chief guest, and attended the event along with Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi. He spoke highly about Chiranjeevi during his speech and also revealed how he used Ram Charan’s film song.

“Sometime back when I met Charan, he was in a long beard and when I asked what film he was doing, he said he was doing the film Rangasthalam that has a village backdrop. I don’t want to watch the film as I know Charan is an urban kind of person. But many of my friends told me that the film was good, so I saw it, and I believe that Rangasthalam is the best in Charan’s,” he said KTR.

The young politician also revealed how he used the film. “I actually used the film in my recent election speeches. I took the song lyrics Aa gattununtaro ee gattununtaro many times in my speeches, and of course the people gave us thumping victory,” he smiled.

“I didn’t tell Charan or DSP when I used the song in my election campaign,” he continued, adding that music director Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) sent him a message thanking him for using his song. “But I told him that I don’t give any royalty for using his song,” he quipped.

Praising Chiranjeevi, he observed that he had reached great heights on his own, without any godfather. “He is a proud actor not only for Telugu, but for Indian cinema,” said KTR. Asserting that Ram Charan’s speech was better than his political speeches during the recent elections, the politician jocularly said that Ram Charan ought to enter politics.

On his part, Chiru too praised KTR calling him a daring, dashing and dynamic leader. “In the recent election campaign, the way KTR spoke and also shut the opposition mouths with his speeches, is really wonderful. I was fond of his speeches especially when he spoke in English at international events. He is proud to be a Telugu person,” he said.
