Anushka Shetty is someone who, through her career, has looked for roles that present scope for performance.
In an interesting development, we learn that Anushka will be seen in the role of visual and hearing impaired woman in a forthcoming film that will be directed by Hemanth Madhukar of Vastadu Naa Raju fame.
Although she received several offers after Baahubali, the actress has not taken up any film, except this one. Reportedly, Anushka was so taken up with her role and the script that she immediately started making efforts to bring down her weight.
A source says, “Anushka Shetty has already started prepping up for her role and has been constantly interacting with visually impaired people and their tutors to observe their reactions to their surroundings. It’s a very challenging role and she’s kicked about playing the part.”
Starring Madhavan, the silent thriller, co-produced by Kona Venkat, will go on floors in January.
