A sequel to Sudigaadu

Director Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao is in talks with Allari Naresh and Sunil for the same.

Actor Allari Naresh has not had a notable film after Sudigaadu. Sunil hasn’t been on a great career phase either. But both the actors are still loved for their individual brand of comedy. And it looks like they are set to team up for a laugh riot.

Director Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao who had helmed Sudigaadu, a remake of the hit Tamil film Thamizh Padam, is said to be bringing both the actors together for the film’s sequel.

“Bhimaneni spoke to both the actors and they seemed excited about the project. The director had made the first film in quite an impressive fashion by weaving in several changes, and adapting it to the local sensibilities. Both the actors are sure he’d do a good job with the sequel as well,” shares a source.

Interestingly, the Tamil film’s sequel is also in production at the moment. It is unclear if the director is keen on remaking the film or has something else planned. Since Srinivas is known majorly for his specialty in remakes, the former seems likely. The source adds, “He is in talks to purchase the remake rights of the sequel and is very keen to bring it to the Telugu screen.”
