While Chiranjeevi and Prabhas are not competing with each other, both are keen on releasing their respective films Sye Raa and Sahoo on August 15, next year. Chiranjeevi is pushing for the shoot to be completed by the end of May, next year, so that the film can be released on August 15.
“The film is about freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy, so Chiru thought that it would be good to release the film at that time,” says a source. The team is working around the clock to complete everything, including the graphics.
Prabhas is also eyeing the August 15 date for Saaho.
“But they don’t want to compete with Chiru, though they will be able to complete the film. If Chiru announces August 15 as his release date, Prabhas would then adjust his film’s release date before or after it,” says a source. So, only the film that is completed first will get the coveted date.
