Ram Charan and director Sukumar are all set to start shooting together soon. There are reports that Raashi Khanna is going to play the female lead opposite Charan, but according to a source from the unit, it is not confirmed. “Her name was suggested, but nothing is confirmed yet. There is a chance that the director may opt for a fresh face as he wants bulk dates from the actress,” adds the source.
The film has a village backdrop and this is the first time Ram Charan and Sukumar are working together. The makers are showing interest to rope in Keerthy Suresh, but the actress has already signed a couple of projects and has no time to allot to them. “Ram Charan is busy with the promotions of Dhruva and the female lead for his next film will be known in a few days,” adds the source.
