Actor Nikhil Siddhartha, whose last outing Kirrak Party didn’t fare well at the box-office, is all set to work with another debutant in his forthcoming film. Sources say that the actor will be teaming up with director Kishen Katta soon.
Nikhil, who is currently shooting for Mudra, the Telugu remake of a Tamil film, wanted to unleash a hitherto unseen side of his personality, and felt that a debutant like Kishen could do justice. The actor reveals that he prefers working with young directors because all of them can be on the same page in terms of envisioning the characters and the script. Shooting for the new film will commence after he wraps up Mudra.
A source informs, “Nikhil is gung-ho about shooting for his next film under debutant director Kishen Katta. The interesting character sketch and its arc was the clincher for the actor. The script is done and the remaining modalities are being worked out.”
