Actor Nani, who’s riding high on a series of successful films, is reportedly set to produce a film soon. A source reveals that this new venture will be directed by a newcomer Prasanth Varma, who has helmed several short films (one of them being Dialogue in the Dark, India’s first film with virtual audio).
“Prasanth came up with an interesting plotline that impressed Nani and he was keen to bankroll it. It is not certain when the film will go on to the floors. However, the team is presently in pre-production, finalising several nitty-gritties in the plot. It might take a while before things are made official,” informs the source.
Several big names are being approached to be a part of the film, with many even showing interest, owing to Nani’s fame. The actor had earlier bankrolled D for Dopidi, directed by Siraj Kalla.
